Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, identifying both strengths and symptoms that inform individualized treatment plans.

  • Develop and implement culturally appropriate and family-centered treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with trauma-informed care practices.

  • Provide various outpatient services, including individual and family counseling, adopting evidence-based methods tailored to diverse client backgrounds.

  • Coordinate effectively with other mental health professionals and community resources to enhance client care, participating in case reviews and team meetings to discuss progress and adjust treatment strategies.

  • Commit to thorough clinical documentation, including maintaining accurate client records and treatment plans, in a timely manner according to program requirements.

  • Monitor client progress and readiness for crisis intervention, employing de-escalation strategies and supportive measures as needed.

  • Manage a designated caseload that reflects best practices in service delivery, adhering to the therapeutic goals set in collaboration with clients.

  • Complete other duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the mental health team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Therapist's role focuses primarily on vulnerable populations facing mental health challenges, including individuals from diverse backgrounds, histories of trauma, and social and economic disparities. By fostering a safe therapeutic environment, you will address a myriad of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other mental health concerns while promoting resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • An active and unrestricted clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or similar) in California is mandatory. Licenses requiring supervision will not be accepted.

  • Must maintain regular attendance and demonstrate punctuality in adherence to the program standards.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly those who have worked with marginalized populations or in community health settings. Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
