Client: Florida Department of Children and Families (FL-DCF) Job ID: 812251 Location: Inverness, FL Work Arrangement: Onsite Interview: In-Person Pay Rate: $15.00/hr Job Description The Florida Department of Children and Families (FL-DCF) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide front-desk, customer service, and general administrative support for Child Protection and Children's Legal Services. The Administrative Assistant will answer incoming calls, assist clients and families visiting the office, route inquiries to the appropriate personnel, maintain records and files, process mail and documents, and perform various clerical and office support activities. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming telephone calls. Greet and assist clients and families visiting the office. Direct inquiries to the appropriate person, office, or resource. Handle customer inquiries and complaints and provide appropriate follow-up. Process incoming and outgoing mail using a postage machine. Perform case filing and maintain organized records. Prepare closure letters and other required documents. Access and complete forms using the Share Drive. Assist with employee interviews and administrative activities. Receive supply deliveries and organize supplies in the designated supply room. Deliver faxes at the end of the business day. Replenish copier paper as needed. Maintain and tidy the playroom when used. Empty recycling boxes every Tuesday and Friday. Perform other general administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Required Skills Ability to speak and understand English. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Experience using a postage machine, copier, and fax machine. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and record-keeping abilities. Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks in a professional office environment.
