Neonatologist

Division of Neonatology NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Neonatologist to join our growing team in Flushing, Queens . This is an excellent opportunity for a neonatologist with an interest in joining a growing faculty team in a large academic tertiary facility. This is a per diem position. Hospital Overview NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens , a 535-bed tertiary facility (65 assigned to Pediatrics), academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, cares for residents throughout Queens and beyond, and is situated in a culturally and ethnically diverse area. An academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, we have a full complement of ACGME training programs, including Pediatric and OB/GYN residency programs, as well as medical student rotations from Weill Cornell Medical College. We conduct over 2,500 deliveries per year. The NICU is a 14‑bed Level III certified unit, staffed by six full‑time neonatologists, six Physician Assistants, and a team of neonatal nurses certified in neonatal critical care. Location Queens , home to Flushing Meadows Park, is proud to host both the New York Mets baseball team and the US Open Tennis Tournament. As one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world, Queens can satisfy nearly every taste. Foodies covet the Greek cuisine of Astoria and the authentic Asian food in Flushing; others admire the inventive art at Socrates Sculpture Park and the stunning flora at the Queens Botanical Garden.
