This large facility is seeking a plastic surgeon for locum tenens coverage to assist with summer call responsibilities. The institution maintains established protocols and support systems to deliver comprehensive plastic surgery services across multiple care settings. Candidates must present with an Iowa license in hand or IMLC and a clean malpractice record prior to assignment commencement.

Iowa offers a range of attractions for visiting clinicians, including the historic Amana Colonies, the Field of Dreams Movie Site, and the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. Outdoor enthusiasts will find opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping across scenic trails and natural areas such as Maquoketa Caves State Park. Additional points of interest include Adventureland, Lost Island Waterpark, and guided tours of the Covered Bridges.

The plastic surgeon will provide 24/7 call coverage across inpatient, clinic, OR, and ER settings for summer plastics coverage at a large facility. A schedule of 7 on/7 off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off is preferred. Opportunity for clinic hours may become available once the assignment has commenced. Board certification is required, and the clinician must hold an Iowa license in hand or through IMLC with a clean malpractice history.
