Position: Financial Analyst Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 10 Months Total Hours/week: 40 Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Accounting/Finance Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only) Level of Experience: Mid-Level Job Description Key financial business partner to the San Jose Instruments Leadership team, Procurement, Facilities, Engineering. Requires close working relationships with Plant Controllers across the globe. Manage/support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and ASR for the BDB business unit, including manufacturing variance/absorption, spending, capital, inventory, revaluation, and E&O forecasting. Develop new analyses and financial models to drive management decisions and cost improvement. Drive operational improvements, maintain and improve processes and controls. Business Partner With Manufacturing Sites Ensure timely and accurate financial performance reporting / perform month end close activity. Validate production volumes and analyze leverage. Ensure productivity factors are in-line with expectations. Work with Operations and Strategic Sourcing to minimize material inflation. Conduct reviews to ensure staffing and overhead structures are appropriate. Assist / support internal and external audit. Ad hoc support or special projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
