We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers.As our site continues to expand, the role forms part of our new and exciting plate freezing facility, which enables us to maintain the quality and freshness of our products. We are currently looking for a Plate Freezer Line Leader to effectively manage the packing area, ensuring daily production targets are continually achieved.Main Duties Include (but not limited to):Responsible for supervising all aspects of a designated area from delivering a best quality product to ensuring product yields are met at all timesTo effectively lead a team of 5-6 people, ensuring the daily freeze plan is achieved in a safe mannerManage traceability throughout the plate freezing process to ensure to products integrity at all timesAssist in manually packing raw material into the cavities of the plate freezer, ensuring the appropriate outer packaging is applied to the frozen and palletised productConduct pre-operational start-up checks, including controlled documents, equipment check sheetsEffectively harness, motivate and develop the team within your area in order to reduce staff turnover and encourage maximum productivity and teamworkTo be multiskilled as a Hygiene Operative as and when requiredWhat We Look For:Experience in a similar role: Factory / Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, Step-Up Line LeaderPrevious experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related) Proven track record of leading a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to daily targetsSuitable transport to commute to HU12 8TBWhat We Can Offer:Job stability at a growing and expanding companyStrong commitment to progression and personal development through department specific training matrix.
