Hourly position (Up to 37.5 hours per week) Position Summary: Performs general IT maintenance and repair of Juneau School District's IT devices. The hourly IT Repair Tech position will clean, organize, reimage, and repair Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and Apple devices as needed. In addition, this position will maintain and prepare device carts, and assist with special projects as needed. Working hours will either be 3.5 hr/day, 5 days a week OR 7.5 hr/day Thursdays and Fridays.
Essential Duties:
Selected hire will be fingerprinted at applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a records check.

Essential Duties:
- Will perform the duties of general IT maintenance, and assist ITSS staff to complete summer projects.
- Safely operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, and equipment to perfom IT duties.
- Operates vehicles and transports materials and supplies to the job site.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Valid Alaska driver's license and able to obtain a commercial driver's license.
- Safety standards and practices.
- Chromebooks, computers, and other equipment.
- Effectively communicate with staff and members of the public verbally, in writing, or by using a computer.
- Operate a computer or tablet as related to daily IT duties.
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and members of the public.
- Work independenty or as a team member to achieve the goals of the school district.
