Job Description

Position Responsibilities
• Install, lash, and maintain aerial fiber optic cable
• Perform strand placement and overlash operations
• Transfer existing communications facilities
• Install anchors, guy wire systems, and related hardware
• Operate bucket trucks and aerial construction equipment
• Read and interpret construction prints and utility specifications
• Perform make-ready work and network upgrades
• Follow all OSHA, utility, and company safety requirements
• Work effectively as part of a construction crew

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of aerial telecommunications construction experience
• Experience with fiber optic cable placement and lashing
• Ability to work at heights and climb poles when required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications
• Bucket truck experience
• Fiber splicing experience
• Traffic control certifications
• First Aid/CPR certification
