About the Role:
U2U LAW PC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel on case matters
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and deposition summaries
- File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegal staff and legal assistants
Requirements:
- 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program preferred
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
- Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Professional, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
