TEMP - Eagles Nest Program (Program Participants Only)

?? This position is exclusively for current Eagles Nest Program participants.

Purpose

The Eagles Nest Program supports individuals ages 18-25 in developing workplace skills and becoming successful employees.

This is a 30-day temporary position through UPMC WorkSource, including four weeks of intensive training and hands-on experience at UPMC Hamot. Participants will rotate through areas such as nursing, transport, and environmental services.

Participants selected at the end of the program may transition to a full-time role through the internal Talent Acquisition transfer process.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks across multiple hospital departments (e.g., nursing, transport, environmental services) under supervision

• Assist staff with daily operations and support routine tasks

• Interact professionally with team members across the organization

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Successful completion of the Bishop Brock orientation program

• Working knowledge of Microsoft systems

• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff

• Ability to perform routine tasks under the guidance of senior staff
