About the Position

BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH certifications Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas Description: This position requires working in a fast-paced emergency department. The emergency department has 52 beds and a team consisting of 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod on night shifts. The average patient ratio is 3:1, with lower acuity patients at 5:1, and team nursing for pediatrics. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care. Candidates should possess a good grasp of patient experience and have the ability to learn quickly. The team is composed of diverse staff members who thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience from large facilities and Meditech experience are preferred. The department values staff who can keep up with a fast-paced work environment.
