Utilizes the HRO safety principles.Reports all injuries (patient or staff) using event reporting system.Demonstrates knowledge of medication and vaccine administration according to policy, carries out physician orders in an accurate and timely manner.Monitors effects of medications and reports adverse effects in a timely manner.Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures, including but not limited to knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.Identifies and reports all risk management issues in a timely manner.Responsible for phone management of patients.Triages phone calls utilizing critical thinking and assessment skills to evaluate the chief complaint and urgency of the problem. Triages phone calls to determine acuity to assist in scheduling appointments.Provides comprehensive medical record documentation. Documents all communications and maintains patient confidentiality.Participates in and/or organizes regular practice huddles, communicates effectively with team members and physicians; actively listens and seeks feedback. Collaborates with team members to solve problems and resolve conflicts. Functions as a resource/mentor and provides support to team members to resolve patient care and team concerns/issues.Utilizes standard precautions including, appropriate isolation techniques.
