Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality? We are looking for a  Cable Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will serve as the gatekeeper of our product quality, ensuring that all cable products meet rigorous standards. You will leverage your expertise to inspect incoming and outgoing cables, identify non-conformances, and collaborate with engineers and assemblers to resolve issues efficiently. Your sharp eye for detail and ability to communicate effectively will make you an indispensable part of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Operate various measuring devices, including dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems based on inspection findings.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, IPC manuals, and detailed work instructions.
• Verify quality in accordance with statistical process control (SPC) or other quality control procedures.
• Effectively communicate with assemblers, engineers, and management to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues in real-time.
• Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed to support production flow.

Required Qualifications

• Strong, proven background in cable manufacturing and inspection.
• High school degree or GED required
• Must have hands-on experience with  soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards .
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, revision control documents, and work instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management.
• Proficient with Personal Computers and standard software applications.
