Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is responsible for implementing and validating AI-driven detection and response solutions, conducting attack simulations, and ensuring seamless integration across security platforms and cloud environments.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Support implementation and integration of AI-driven detection and response solutions across security platforms.
• Validate AI-assisted workflows through testing, attack simulations, and operational readiness exercises.
• Coordinate onboarding of integrations, APIs, and data sources while ensuring proper connectivity and access.
• Identify and resolve integration issues, workflow gaps, and operational risks to improve system effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and document implementation procedures and results.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or threat detection roles.
• Strong expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SOC workflows with experience integrating enterprise security technologies.
• Hands-on experience in security testing, attack simulation, and AI-driven security solutions with knowledge of cloud, IAM, APIs, and network security.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
