Machine Shop Helper

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Specialized Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth and advancement.

Job Responsibilities

Assist machine operators and shop personnel with daily production tasks.
Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the shop.
Deburr, grind, clean, and prepare parts for machining or shipment.
Operate basic shop equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and stocking supplies.
Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
Follow production schedules and complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
