Industrial Painter

Are you a skilled painter with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality finishes? We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Painter to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings and finishes to a variety of metal products, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and durability standards for our customers.

Starting Date - ASAP

Employment Term - Temp to hire

Employment Type - Full time

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st and 2nd shift openings

Starting Pay - $18 to $21

Required Experience - At least 1 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and pretreat metal surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and a flawless finish.
• Coating Application: Operate spray equipment to apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to metal parts and assemblies.
• Quality Inspection: Conduct visual inspections to identify runs, sags, or uneven coverage, making necessary adjustments to maintain a high-quality output.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of respirators and PPE, and ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial painting or automotive refinishing preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with airless, HVLP, or conventional spray systems; experience with powder coating is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders to determine specific coating requirements.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, wear a respirator, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
