Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines. Schedule: * Per Diem, 6 shifts in a 6-week period Shift: * Days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm The value you'll bring to the team: * Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. * Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. * Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. * Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: * Minimum Qualifications: * Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) * Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification * Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification * Minimum of six (6) months previous Registered Nurse experience * Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills) * Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures * Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing * One (1) or more years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting in a Progressive Care Unit Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $31.53 - $52.24 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
