• CRNA will need to be able to do their own blocks and spines.
• Occasionally CRNA will work unsupervised.
• No call for the ED or on weekends. There is call for any surgical patients that require overnight stays throughout the week.

Community Attractions

State College is in central PA about 2-1/2 hours northeast of Pittsburgh and 90 minutes northwest of Harrisburg. Most noted for Penn State University. This is a college town. The large presence of the school, the Big Time Football program, make for a fun atmosphere and a vitality that comes from being around youthful and energetic students. It is literally smack in the middle of the state of Pennsylvania. The university is the largest employer in the region by far. The major cities would be Pittsburgh to the west and Philadelphia to the east. It is basically its own community.
