Must have BLS and NBSTSA. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with extensive Operating Room experience across General Surgery, Orthopedic, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Pediatrics, Robotics, Transplant, and Ophthalmology procedures in acute care hospital and trauma settings. Skilled in assisting surgeons during complex open, laparoscopic, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique, patient safety, and efficient surgical workflow.

Experienced in procedures including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, spinal fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, total joint replacement, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystoscopy, thyroidectomy, Whipple procedures, tracheostomy, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, and kidney transplant support. Proficient with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems, microvascular/free flap procedures, trauma cases, pediatric surgeries, and endoscopic procedures including bronchoscopy.

Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, specimen handling and labeling, laser safety, radiation safety, universal protocol/time-out procedures, equipment documentation, case cart preparation, and crash cart management. Adept at anticipating surgeon needs, preparing operating rooms, maintaining instrument counts, and ensuring compliance with infection control and patient safety standards in fast-paced surgical environments.
