Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation :

• The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $20.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:00am-10:30am

Job Summary:

Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to pick customer orders or a computer system to pack and prepare orders for shipment
• Work with product stored in ambient, refrigerated (cooler), or freezer areas
• Rotate between warehouse departments based on business needs
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed and complete daily equipment inspections
• Verify products for correct codes, lot numbers, and quantities
• Identify and report any damaged or incorrect products
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks in assigned areas
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED, or
• At least 2 years of warehouse or similar industry experience

Preferred

• Basic computer and math skills
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience
• Experience working in a cold storage or cold chain environment

Work Environment

This role takes place in a warehouse setting and requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Working in multiple temperature zones, including:
  
  • Ambient warehouse
  • Cooler (approximately 40°F)
  • Freezer (approximately -20°F)
• Use of PPE, including safety vest, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and other equipment as required

Steel-toe shoes are required.

This position may also require overtime, sometimes with short notice, depending on business needs.
