Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Stroke UnitThis is a 13-week contract position.Shifts are night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, consisting of 3 × 12-hour shifts per week.The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 30-bed Telemetry/Stroke unit, focusing on patients with diagnoses including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization, stroke, sepsis, and those undergoing alcohol and substance withdrawal.Responsibilities include:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry/stroke setting.Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create patient care plans.Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.Assist in emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous travel nursing experience required.Experience in stroke care is mandatory.Current BLS and ACLS certifications.NIHSS certification is required.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
