Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and have 2+ years of patent litigation experience. Job Description Work directly with partners and counsel on sophisticated patent litigation matters. Analyze patent infringement, validity, and other complex legal and technical issues. Draft briefs, pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other substantive litigation documents. Conduct legal, factual, and technical research and investigations. Manage discovery and contribute to case strategy from early-stage litigation through trial preparation. Prepare for and take depositions while developing hands‑on advocacy experience. Collaborate with expert witnesses on technical and evidentiary issues. Perform technical due diligence and analyze complex intellectual property matters. Take on increasing responsibility for motions, depositions, hearings, and trial team assignments as your experience grows. Qualifications Active California Bar license. 2+ years of patent litigation experience required. Associate‑level background, ideally within the client's targeted 3 to 7 years of litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Ability and enthusiasm to take ownership of substantive litigation responsibilities. Engineering, computer science, or another technical background preferred, but not required.
