This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with previous quality experience who is comfortable working overtime when production requires it.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Quality Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 19.00 / hourFull Time work availableThird Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 10:45pm to 07:00am)Perform quality inspections on manufactured automotive componentsInspect finished and in-process parts for defects and nonconforming materialUse calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment as requiredVerify parts meet established specifications, measurements, and quality standardsComplete required quality documentation, inspection reports, and production recordsIdentify, document, and report quality issues or defective productsWork closely with production and machine operators to address quality concernsFollow established inspection procedures and customer quality requirementsMaintain accurate records and ensure quality standards are consistently followedQuality Technician Qualifications:Previous Quality Technician experience requiredManufacturing quality experience strongly preferredAutomotive manufacturing experience is a plusExperience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferredAbility to read and understand measurements, specifications, and inspection requirementsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify defectsGood/stable work history and dependable attendanceComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be able to work 3rd shiftMust be flexible to work overtime and occasional 10–12 hour shifts when requiredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
