Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role based in Sun Valley, CA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring vehicles and equipment meet safety and operational standards. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities and collaborating with the operations team to ensure fleet reliability. Qualifications Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair Experience in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance procedures and practices Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in vehicle repair Familiar with DOT rules regulations Must have a valid CDL Must have 3 years Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Alvand Transportation Corp.
