Company DescriptionFortune 500 Retail CompanyJob DescriptionResponsible for the planning and execution of internal and external financial reporting.Internal Reporting ResponsibilitiesBi-annual preparation of consolidated budgets and related schedulesMonthly preparation of consolidated forecasts and related schedulesMonthly reporting and analysis to senior management and Board of DirectorsPreparation of ad hoc requests for senior managementExternal Reporting ResponsibilitiesPreparation of quarterly press releases and 10-Qs, including XBRLPreparation of annual financial statements and 10-K report, including XBRLAssist in the preparation of various other SEC reports (ie. 8-K, S-3, S-4)Interact with external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual auditsInteract with internal and external auditors regarding Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 complianceMonitor new SEC and FASB proposals and develop implementation processesPerform accounting research and recommended appropriate application as needed QualificationsEducation: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferredSkills:- Previous exposure to GAAP financial statement preparation and SEC filings- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong analytical skills- Must be well organized- Hyperion knowledge a strong plusAdditional Information$120K to $130K Plus bonusEmail Resume to: View email address on click.appcast.io: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: Not ApplicableIndustry: Oil And Energy
