Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver – Forklift Operator

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver – Forklift Operator to join our team. This position will be responsible for general warehouse operations, loading and unloading shipments, order preparation, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and local deliveries using a 28' box truck.

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, forklift operating experience, and experience driving a 28' box truck for local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and put away warehouse materials.
• Pick, pull, prepare, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Prepare orders for UPS, FedEx, trucking companies, and other freight carriers.
• Load shipments and efficiently onto trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Operate a forklift / order picker / reach truck to move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory and keep products organized.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping documents before shipments leave the warehouse.
• Make local deliveries using a 28' box truck when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification/license is required
• Experience driving a 28' box truck strongly preferred.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Ability to safely load, unload, lift, carry, and move materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good attention to detail, especially when preparing and shipping orders.
• Ability to follow instructions and company safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be willing to perform both warehouse and local delivery duties.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move boxes and materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse work throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and a forklift.
• Ability to safely load and unload delivery vehicles.

• LTL/trucking freight
• Forklift operation
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Order picking and preparation
• Inventory organization
• Driving a 28' box truck
• Local deliveries and route driving
