Job Summary
• Conduct comprehensive AAC evaluations, including feature matching, device trials, and communication needs assessments, in collaboration with the SLPs and IEP teams.
• Develop and implement individualized AAC intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
• Select, customize, and program AAC systems (low-tech to high-tech) based on student needs
• Maintain an inventory of AAC tools (hardware and software) and order more equipment as needed
• Monitor student progress and adjust AAC systems and intervention strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
