Works cross-functionally with departments, payors, and patients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant account resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesResolve patient accounts through billing review, collections, and follow-upManage claims lifecycle: edits, denials, rejections, and resubmissionsEnsure timely reimbursement and meet productivity/quality goalsCommunicate with patients, payors, and internal teams on account issuesMaintain accurate documentation in billing systemsMonitor filing deadlines and payor requirementsIdentify reimbursement trends and resolve underpayments/denialsReconcile payments, research discrepancies, and resolve unapplied cashQualificationsHigh School Diploma required3years in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, collections, or claimsKnowledge of UB-04, HCFA 1500Experience with hospital billing (inpatient/outpatient preferred)Solid understanding of revenue cycle, denials, and insurance follow-upStrong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills
