Temporary Receptionist

$25 - $28 per hour

Start your new career as a Temporary Receptionist with MAU at Ingevity in North Charleston, SC. As a Temporary Receptionist, you will provide front desk and administrative support while creating professional and welcoming experience for visitors and employees at Ingevity Headquarters. This is a temporary assignment from July 1, 2026 to July 16, 2026.

What We Offer:

Pay of $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Paid training on July 1-2, 2026
Monday-Thursday schedule (No Fridays required)
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Lunch break available
Paid holidays on July 3 and July 10 for candidates who complete the entire assignment
Onsite management support throughout the assignment
Opportunity to gain experience at a leading corporate headquarters

What We're Looking For:

Previous office, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Positive attitude and willingness to support team operations
Reliable and professional work ethic

What You'll Do as a Temporary Receptionist:

Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Sign for and distribute incoming packages and deliveries
Process outgoing mail and package shipments
Restock office supply rooms and kitchen areas
Clean and maintain office coffee machines
Empty and manage dishwashers as needed
Assist with setting up lunches and meetings
Provide general administrative support to employees
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Maintain an organized, efficient, and professional front desk environment
