FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a Full‑Time Floor Technician position. Location: Our Lady of the Lake St. Elizabeth, 1125 W HIGHWAY 30, Gonzales, LA 70737 (online applications only). Schedule: Full‑time; open availability preferred. Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 pm – 4:00 am (details upon interview). Requirement: No previous experience required. Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour. Job Summary Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface treatments, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
