Quality Assurance Technician

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Job Description The Quality Assurance Technician will perform the receiving and in-process testing of products, including visual, dimensional, and functional assessments. This role involves creating, updating, and reviewing inspection and test protocols, and requires an in-depth knowledge of the Quality Management System. The technician will create and review QMS documents based on process changes to ensure compliance and will analyze data using Excel while working alongside the production team. Responsibilities Perform receiving and in-process testing of products. Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional assessments. Create, update, and review inspection and test protocols. Maintain and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System. Create and review QMS documents based on process changes. Analyze data using Excel. Collaborate closely with the production team. Essential Skills Quality control and assurance. Quality inspection and documentation. Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers. Experience with GMP standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ years of quality experience within a regulated environment. Good computer literacy. Ability to work in Excel for data documentation and review. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a medical device manufacturing facility within a QC department that collaborates with production. The facility is smaller in size, fostering a close-knit working environment. The position requires an 8‑hour shift starting either at 3pm or 4pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
