Title
Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry

Schedule
- Shift Type: Self-scheduling
- Ratios: 1:4 during days and nights, 1:5 on weekends
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

- Unit Size: 29 beds
- Daily Census: ~27

- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience (first-time travel nurses OK)
- Required Certification: BLS
- Experience with Telemetry/remote monitoring and Neuro Stepdown care
- Previous experience in a Trauma Level II and community hospital preferred
- Charting experience in any EHR system is acceptable; EPIC preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Neuro Telemetry/Stepdown unit.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and managing dysrhythmias.
- Administer care for various neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, and post-neurosurgery patients.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 12 hours; dedicated mentors available
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Parking: Free in unrestricted employee/visitor surface lots
- Must request all RTO/scheduling requests up-front during submission
