Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) $$SN$$
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Shift: Days 3x12s (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

• Prepare the operating room, equipment, and surgical supplies before procedures.

• Circulate during a variety of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team.

• Assist with orthopedic, vascular, robotic, plastic, general, gynecologic, and bariatric surgical procedures.

• Monitor patients throughout surgery and document care accurately.

• Participate in an on-call rotation consisting of 4 call shifts every 6 weeks (2 weekdays and 2 independent weekend day/night shifts).

Requirements

• Active RN license.

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute care setting.

• Vascular surgery experience is required.

• Preferred experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, and Plastic Surgery.

• Scrub experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

• Experience in a fast-paced operating room with both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases.
