Leasing Agent – Minneapolis, MN

• Pay: $21–$24 per hour (DOE)
• Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent for an apartment community in Minneapolis, MN. We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional with prior leasing experience required . The ideal candidate has a proven ability to work with prospective residents, conduct property tours, process applications, and help achieve leasing and occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Schedule and conduct apartment tours for prospective residents.
• Process rental applications, verify documentation, and prepare lease agreements.
• Follow up with prospective residents to convert inquiries into completed applications and signed leases.
• Maintain accurate leasing records, resident files, and documentation.
• Assist with marketing available apartments and updating online listings.
• Support lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office.
• Assist with daily property management operations as needed.

Requirements

• Prior leasing experience is required.
• Previous apartment or multifamily property management experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and resident-focused attitude.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and property management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
