Vice Chair, Education, Department of Dermatology University of Arizona, College of Medicine - Phoenix Phoenix, Arizona Physician, Dermatology Academic/Research- Dermatology Employment Type: Full-Time The University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix seeks an accomplished academic dermatologist to serve as vice chair of education in the Department of Dermatology. The vice chair will work in partnership with the department chair, the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education, and the Office of Graduate Medical Education to advance the department's educational mission. Key responsibilities include guiding the development and execution of the department's educational strategic plan, establishing and directing a new dermatology residency program, mentoring faculty and trainees, and building strong collaborations with college, clinical and community stakeholders. Clinical activities will be at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, which has an established and growing dermatology program specializing in cutaneous oncology and oncodermatology, that is part of a multidisciplinary care team. For candidates with an active research program, the position will also include protected time for research and research start-up funding.
