Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state or Compact RN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Med-Surg experience
- Preferred experience in Critical Care as long as fluent with Med-Surg ratios & acuity
- Current Certifications: BLS required, NHISS needed prior to start, ACLS preferred
- Up to date resume documenting 2+ years of experience in specialty and travel experience
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Drivers license with address matching demographics
- NURSYS Report for license verification with all active RN licenses
- EMR Experience: Cerner preferred (not required)
- Dysrhythmia Exam with a preferred score of 80% during onboarding

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical settings.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and wellness.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
- Traveler may be requested to float to partner facilities as needed.
