School Psychologist – Milwaukee, WI
ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to provide support for a school district in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment and counseling services while supporting students and school teams.
Position Details
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Position: School Psychologist
Immediate support: On-call support from ASAP through December
January placement: Covering a leave beginning in January
Initial contract: 3 months, with potential for extension
Caseload: School-based student population
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive student assessments as part of the IEP process
Complete student observations and evaluations
Prepare detailed evaluation reports and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and reevaluations
Present and share evaluation findings with school teams, families, and other stakeholders
Provide approximately 9 counseling services
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
Appropriate School Psychologist credentials/licensure for Wisconsin
Experience working in a school setting preferred
Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
