Registered Nurse - LTAC

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to LTAC patients, focusing on neuro, MS, and TELE-specific needs. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced, extended care setting. Responsibilities: Administer and monitor patient care, including neuro-focused treatments and interventions. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient progress, symptoms, and treatments accurately within the EMR system. Support patient and family education regarding condition management and post-discharge care. Ensure compliance with BLS, ACLS, and NIH standards, maintaining current certifications. Respond to on-call needs after hours and during weekends, supporting continuous patient care. Qualifications: Hold a valid MS/TELE RN license with at least 2 years of recent LTAC experience. Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of recent experience with Epic EMR. Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Have neuro exposure and experience working in LTAC or similar critical care environments. Be able to float to other units within Prisma Health facilities as needed.
