Role Description

The Marketing & Community Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Billings, MT. This position is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns that promote the credit union’s products, services, and community-focused mission. Daily activities include developing marketing materials, managing social media and digital content, coordinating events and sponsorships, and building relationships with community partners and local organizations. The Specialist will conduct market research to identify member needs and opportunities for growth, collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, and support branch-level promotional activities. This role also involves representing the credit union at community events, tracking campaign performance, and providing input on marketing strategies that enhance member engagement and brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage members, partners, and community organizations effectively.
• Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and develop targeted campaigns.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to support promotional initiatives, cross-selling of products, and member acquisition efforts.
• Relevant qualifications include experience in financial services or community-based organizations, proficiency with social media and digital marketing tools, and strong writing and presentation skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
• Ability to work on-site in Billings, MT, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.
