Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and schedule surgical cases across a variety of service lines, including total joints and robotic surgery.
• Provide on-call coverage 1-2 weeknights per six weeks and 1 weekend per six weeks.
• Maintain strict adherence to universal protocols, including time-out procedures before surgery.
• Administer blood and blood products, ensuring correct handling and labeling of specimens.
• Monitor and implement infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a Level III Trauma Center environment with 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of WA or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with proficiency in Epic charting.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Strong competence in circulating for general, orthopedic, spine, thoracic, and urology cases.
• Expertise in managing patient safety, including fire, laser, and radiation safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex OR equipment and techniques such as cell savers and robotic systems.
