Sr. Cost Analyst

Position Title: Senior Cost AnalystWage: Based on ExperienceWe are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to staff a Sr. Cost Analyst position to support plant operations through cost accounting, inventory analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory valuation, product costing, month-end close processes, and operational financial analysis. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite role in DeSoto, KS.Senior Cost Analyst Responsibilities:Establish and maintain standard costs for manufactured productsAnalyze manufacturing, labor, and inventory variancesSupport month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entriesReview and maintain BOMs and routings for new productsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost analysisPartner with operations, engineering, and purchasing teams on cost improvement initiativesSupport inventory cycle counts, physical inventories, and fixed asset auditsAnalyze ERP and financial data to support continuous improvement projectsRequirements for Senior Cost Analyst:5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesAdvanced Excel skills and ERP experience with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experienceCMA, CPA, or MBA designation is a plusIND345Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
