Role Overview

A major healthcare provider in the North Carolina Triangle region is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This position offers exposure to a wide range of patient populations, modern imaging technology, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Primary Functions

1. Perform high quality diagnostic radiographic exams following established protocols
2. Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort
3. Operate digital radiography systems and related imaging equipment
4. Verify orders, patient identification, and clinical indications
5. Maintain accurate documentation within PACS and the electronic medical record
6. Support radiologists during specialized or complex procedures
7. Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
8. Collaborate with nursing, ED, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain efficient patient flow
9. Participate in department quality initiatives and continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible)
• North Carolina state license required (or willing to obtain)
• BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced clinical environment
