Day Program One to One Support

Cedars of Marin provides day programs and residential opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1919, our exceptional person-centered programs and services have supported individuals in living creative, productive, joyful, and healthy lives for more than a century.Cedars' Community Connections program provides meaningful, person-centered opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to participate in activities and experiences that promote independence, engagement, connection, and quality of life.We are currently looking for a compassionate and skilled full-time 1:1 Support to provide individualized support to a participant in our Community Connections program.As a 1:1 Support, you will work closely with the participant to provide individualized support throughout the day based on their interests, abilities, and individual needs. You will help create meaningful daily experiences that encourage independence, participation, connection, and enjoyment.This is a hands-on role that combines individualized program support with direct care. Depending on the participant's needs, responsibilities may include assisting with personal care, personal hygiene, toileting, mobility, and other daily needs. You will provide patient, compassionate, and person-centered support while helping the participant remain engaged in activities and experiences that are meaningful to them.The work is active, relationship-focused, and rewarding.
