Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant I - Clinical Toxicology Laboratory to support our client's healthcare facility in Burlington, NC. This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

Shift: 3rd Shift / Overnight

Location: Burlington, NC 27215

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Pay Range: $17 to $18/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Assist with pre-analytical preparation of patient specimens for laboratory testing.
\n
• Support laboratory operations and sample processing activities.
\n
• Handle specimens such as blood, serum, urine, and meconium according to established procedures.
\n
• Help ensure specimens are properly prepared and ready for testing.
\n
• Follow laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
\n
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling patient samples.
\n
• Work collaboratively with laboratory team members to support daily operations.
\n
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
\n
• Years of experience: Experience working in a fast-paced laboratory or similar environment.
\n
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.
\n
