Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a leading entertainment and sports agency known for its expertise across filmed and live entertainment, digital media, publishing, sponsorship sales and endorsements, licensing, media finance, consumer investing, fashion, trademark licensing, and philanthropy.
The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Insights & Analytics Sr. Manager will play a key role in high‑profile client work and new‑business initiatives, leading the development and sell‑in of Sports, Entertainment, and Impact strategies. The role partners with account leads to advise C‑suite clients and their teams on leveraging data‑driven insights across media channels and consumer touchpoints, interfacing day‑to‑day with account, strategy, creative, and business development teams, as well as senior clients.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and management of sponsorship strategy, valuation, and measurement initiatives across a portfolio of clients.
- Utilize third‑party, internal, and client‑owned research tools to aggregate and analyze marketing data.
- Use data visualization skills and tools to analyze and package reports for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage data to develop new insights that improve planning and strategy execution.
- Interact directly with internal teams and clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
- Partner closely with strategy and account teams to build and apply insight‑driven personas, segmentation models, customer journeys, and measurement frameworks.
- Interpret category and consumer trends to inform sponsorship marketing, partnership, campaign and communication strategies, determining media, creative, and touchpoint roles needed to drive desired outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams—account, new business, data, strategy, creative—facilitating optimal outputs while balancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactively pitch innovative ideas, new partners, new channels, and test‑and‑learn opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics).
- 6‑8 years of experience in a data‑driven insights and strategic role.
- Expertise in interpreting consumer research and data (quantitative & qualitative) and applying it to solutions‐based client strategies.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and adapt to different stakeholders.
- Natural curiosity and the demonstrated ability to turn observed data into a story about the underlying behavior.
- Understanding of marketing, brand, and social metrics.
- Experience managing, developing, and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate on fast‑moving projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being extremely detail‑oriented.
- Experience communicating and providing consultation and advice to clients.
- Global experience or experience working on multi‑market accounts.
- Knowledge, passion, and curiosity about culture, sports, and entertainment.
- Team player who collaborates effectively with junior and senior colleagues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing Sports, Entertainment, & Impact related sponsorship strategies.
- Experience developing questionnaires and designing and fielding primary research.
- Experience valuing partnership opportunities and assets.
- Experience designing and implementing sponsorship measurement campaigns.
- Experience with YouGov, Meltwater, or other syndicated research platforms.
Location
This role will be hybrid and located in our New York or Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary is in the range of $117,000 to $135,000. The position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location.
