Key skills should include:
- Strong database knowledge and hands-on DBA experience
- PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization
- Indexing strategy, execution plan analysis, partitioning, and schema optimization
- Experience with ETL / ELT pipelines and data processing
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue Jobs, Glue Data Catalog, S3, Athena, and CloudWatch
- Experience with DynamoDB data modeling, partition keys, secondary indexes, and performance tuning
- Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline, database, and production performance issues
- Strong understanding of data services, data validation, monitoring, and operational support
- Good communication and ownership skills
