Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure and Acute Coronary Syndrome.
• Manage telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias, ensuring accurate and timely responses to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and procedural sedation, adjusting as necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Perform post-cardiac catheterization and peripheral line care and management, maintaining high standards of practice.
• Collaborate effectively with rapid response teams and utilize EPIC for accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide supportive respiratory care for patients with conditions such as COPD and pneumonia, including BIPAP management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Proficient in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
