Job Title - Scientist 1, Analytical Chemistry Development Location - Research Triangle Park, NC Duration - 6+ Months Contract Total Hours/week - 40.00 Shift - 1st Shift Client - Medical Device Company Employment Type - Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only) Work days/hours - Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Onsite Requirement - Daily This position will function within the Chemical Sciences Unit of Corporate Preclinical Development and Toxicology (CPDT) and will participate in/support the conduct of nonclinical laboratory investigations of medical devices and materials in accordance with GLP regulations and the BD CPDR Quality System. The incumbent will perform routine sample analysis, as well as investigational studies to support material control initiatives. Responsibilities Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses. Prepare samples, including multiple forms of sample extraction. Conduct routine and non‑routine analytical chemistry studies utilizing HPLC, Karl Fischer, Light Obscuration, and bench chemistry. Prepare chemical reagents and solutions needed for testing. Maintain a safe chemical laboratory environment. Record raw data according to GLP documentation requirements. Interpret results and prepare technical reports on completed studies. Perform other technical writing functions as requested. #J-18808-Ljbffr
