and how the process works here: Summary Organization: Freeman Job Title: Inventory Processor Department: Audio Visual and Event Technology Location: Dallas, TX (100% onsite) Employment Terms Hours: Part-time (estimated 20-30 hours per week) Schedule: Typical start time is 8am, the weekdays and shift lengths are flexible according to what works best for you Target Start Date: July/August 2026 (Specific start date to be confirmed) Estimated Pay Rate: $20 per hour Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future Must be willing to submit to and successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check Must be 18 years of age or older Essential Tasks Prepare new equipment for inventory following established procedures and guidance from the department Lead Apply barcodes to new inventory, ensuring accurate verification of make, model, and serial numbers Assist with unloading, sorting, packing, and redistributing items to designated branches Perform general assembly and packaging of equipment as needed Load equipment into cases and stencil cases with appropriate codes and descriptions Prepare finished products (e.g., pallets, straps, shrink wrap) for shipment to branches Maintain a clean and organized work area Support other departments as needed Perform additional duties as assigned General Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate verification of inventory Ability to communicate and work with a team to meet production goals Comfort with working in a warehouse environment, which can be busy and noisy (such as forklift horns and case movement) Comfort with Power Tools and equipment (such as Drill, wrench, hammer, mallet, box cutter, Steel Strap Cutter, Paper Cutter, Laminator, Heat Gun, Engraver, Stencil Roller, Stencil Remover, Adhesive Spray, Stencil Ink, and Paint Brush for removing stencils) Comfort with wearing Personal Protective Equipment when in designated areas (such as safety goggles, masks, safety vests, and gloves) Ability to complete the following activities: standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling Ability to lift up to roughly 25 lbs (with support) Digital/Technical Skills Basic computer skills (such as the ability to navigate emailing platforms) to respond to online requests Education and Knowledge High School Diploma or equivalent Awareness of warehouse safety precautions (such as tripping/falling hazards due to pallets on the floor or slippery surfaces and adhering to safety equipment protocols) Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment or a similar setting is nice to have but not required (such as supply chain operations, packaging, logistics, or during busy times (with team support and guidance) Working in a warehouse setting with high temperatures can be uncomfortable during hot weather seasons for some individuals Working in a noisy work
