Accounting Specialist (Healthcare)

Job Overview Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000/year Location: Palm Beach County, FL Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office) TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Accounting Specialist (Healthcare) in Palm Beach County, FL for our client, supporting financial reconciliation, transaction review, and accounting operations within a healthcare services environment. This role will manage account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, maintain financial documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and recordkeeping. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with reconciliation processes. Responsibilities Account Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger activity, and financial transactions. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve transaction variances, outstanding items, and financial discrepancies in a timely manner. Financial Documentation: Maintain organized reconciliation records, supporting schedules, and transaction documentation within accounting systems. Journal Entry Support: Prepare and submit adjusting journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. Data Analysis: Review financial data, identify trends or irregularities, and elevate potential risk areas when necessary. Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and financial institutions to resolve account-related issues and inquiries. Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 1+ years of reconciliation, accounting, or bookkeeping experience is required. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial reconciliation processes and transaction analysis is required. Technical Skills: Experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting or ERP systems is required. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
